Lunchtime recital in the Muziekgebouw Eindhoven

Every year an EMCY prize winner performs a lunchtime recital at the prestigious Muziekgebouw Eindhoven, the Netherlands.

“I was lucky enough to perform in The Netherlands and now I would like to confess I fell in love with Muziekgebouw Eindhoven. The concert was held in a pleasant, homely atmosphere and our performance has found a warm response among the public.” Se Tcoi 

2019

In 2019 another EMCY prize winner was invited to play at the famous Eindhoven Lunchrecital.

The prize winner of the International Competition of Young Pianist dedicated to the Work of ‘Fryderyk Chopin’ in Narva, Estonia, Pawel Miroslaw Wojciechowski, played on the 17th of January, in the small hall of the music center in Eindhoven, in the Netherlands.

2017

On 23 November, the EMCY prize winner Kiron Atom Tellian performed a lunchtime recital at the prestigious Muziekgebouw Eindhoven (the Netherlands).

2016

On 20th October, EMCY prize winner Se Tcoi performed a lunchtime recital at the prestigious Muziekgebouw Eindhoven (Netherlands). This year the program of the concert consisted in small works of various composers on the theme of “Nature”.

2015

On October 15, EMCY prize winner Can Çakmur performed a lunchtime recital to a full concert hall at the prestigious Muziekgebouw Eindhoven (Netherlands). The audience was treated to a full service of music from different epochs including Beethoven, Liszt, Schubert, Chopin along with the contemporary piece, Black Earth by Turkish composer Fazil Say.

When asked about his experience Can responded: “It was an honor and a privilege to perform in the marvelous acoustics of the Muziekgbouw Eindhoven for an extraordinarily friendly and knowledgeable audience. It was an unique experience which I will cherish.”
