Zhuoqing Du

Zhuoqing Du was born in 2007 in Hebei, China. At the age of five he performed in the Great Hall of the People in Shijiazhuang. In 2015 – 2017 he attended the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. Since 2018 Zhuoqing has been a student of Professor Agata Nowakowska-Gumiela at the Arthur Rubinstein Secondary Music School in Bydgoszcz, Poland.

Since 2012, he has won more than ten chinese and foreign awards, including “Caesar Castle of Pearl River”, “Little Golden Bell Award”, “Star Sea Cup”, “Kadansa”, “Hope Cup”, “First National Youth Piano Competition Attached to Shanghai Conservatory of Music”, “Vienna Mozart International Piano Competition”, “Moskovsky International Piano Competition”. He performed solo concerts in Beijing, Shijiazhuang, Handan, Shanghai Concert Hall and in Poland – Szafarnia, Żelazowa Wola, Bydgoszcz.

Zhuoqing Du is the laureate of following competitions:

• 2024 – 1 st Prize: XIII International Competition for Young Pianists „Artur Rubinstein in memoriam” in Bydgoszcz, Poland
•  2024 – 1 st Prize: National Piano Competition of CEA (Art Education Center) in Warsaw, Poland
• 2023 – 2 nd Prize: International Grotrian-Steinweg Piano Competition in Braunschweig, Germany
• 2023 – 1 st Prize: Maurycy Moszkowski International Piano Competition „Per aspera ad astra” in Kielce, Poland (group C)
• 2022 – 2 nd Prize: Halina Czerny-Stefańska Piano Competition in Płock, Poland
• 2022 – distinction: International Chopin Competition for Youth in Szafarnia, Poland
• 2021 – 2 nd Prize: Ignacy Jan Paderewski Competition in Piotrków Trybunalski, Poland
• 2019 – 1 st Prize: Maurycy Moszkowski International Piano Competition „Per aspera ad astra” in Kielce, Poland (group B)
