Leyla Zeynalove was born on June 18, 2001 in Baku, Azerbaijan. She is a student of Baku Music Academy (class of prof. K.Neymanova). Since 8 October 2014 her name was entered in the “Golden Book” of young talents of Azerbaijan Republic by the Decree of the President of Azerbaijan Republic and was granted a special President scholarship.

She is the laureate of international and republican competitions and festivals. She performed in England, Denmark, Belgium, Germany, Poland, Latvia, Russia, United Arab Emirates, Georgia and Estonia. On February 2020 she won the XIII International F.Chopin Competition in Narva, Estonia.
She received the Grand Prix, EMCY prize and five special prizes.

On January 2020 she was a participant of “Feuerwerk” Winter Academy in Germany and played concerts in different cities. On October 2019 she won the 8th Riga International Competition for young pianists in Latvia. She received I prize and three special prizes (invitation to the festival in Germany).
On February 2018 she awarded “Youth Award” for her successful activity by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan. On December 2018 she won festival of “Academic, Folk and Jazz music” in Baku. On December 2017 she received Grand Prix in the international competition “World Harmony” in Baku and was invited to Turkey for solo recital. On November 2017 she received II prize and special prize for the best performance of romantic piece in the “The 10th Young pianist of the North” International competition in Newcastle, England. On March 2017 she became semifinalist of Aarhus International competition and Vladimir Krainev Moscow competitions. 
On August 2016 she received V prize and special “Bärenreiter Urtexprize” in the 15th Ettlingen International competition in Germany. On February 2016 she received I prize in the International competition EPTA Belgium in Brussels.
On April, 2015 she won the XIII International Competition “Young musician” in Tallinn. She received the Grand Prix and two special prizes. On February, 2014 she became the prizewinner (II prize) of the X International Chopin Competition in Narva, Estonia.
On May 2013 she visited Poland and performed at the concert in F. Chopin Institute in Warsaw. On June 2013, 2014 and 2016 she was a participant of Children’s Music Academies of CIS and Baltic countries led by Yuri Bashmet (Samara, Russia). In May, 2015, 2017 she was invited to the festivals “Moscow meets friends” which is held under the patronage of Vladimir Spivakov. On April, 2014 she performed with solo program in the Grand Hall of Tbilisi State Conservatory. On April, 2013 she became the prizewinner (II prize) of II International Festival of young performers of classical music among the countries of the Islamic world in Baku. On May, 2013 she won the II Republican competition of young pianists (I prize).

Leyla attended masterclasses with Vladimir Ovchinnikov, Boris Bekhterev, Eliso Bolkvadze, Ruvim Ostrovsky, Aleksander Sandler, James Kirby, Rostislav Krimer, Nino Katamadze, Stanislaw Dea, Adelya Alieva, Irina Osipova, Mira Marchenko, Aleksander Ghindin etc.
