Therianos Chrysanthos was born in Thessaloniki in 2008. His first contact with music was in primary school when he was 9 years old and at the same time he started his first piano lessons at the Pythagorean conservatory of Thessaloniki with teacher Phyllis Demertzi. Now he is a student of the music school of Thessaloniki in which he passed 1st with 100% success, and he is studying at the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki where he passed first in the qualifying exams in which he is under the guidance of the acclaimed pianist Vassilis Varvaresos. Therianos Chrysanthos has won awards or praises in all the competitions he participated in, among which is the third prize in the pan-Hellenic music competition “Tassos Pappas” in 2021, the first prize in the 7th pan-Hellenic piano competition for children (7th thess junior piano contest) and the first prize in his category (16 to 20 years old), the second prize in all categories and the EMCY special prize in the international piano and violin competition “Ohrid pearls” 2024.
