The PIANALE International Academy & Competition 2024 edition ended on 7th August, at Schloss Fasanerie (Germany).
The international jury has selected the prizewinners:
FINALISTS:
Ayane Nakajima (USA/Japan) – Jury Award, the Special Award „City of Fulda“ and the special award „Steingraeber and Söhne“.
Phoebe Papandrea (UK/Italy) – Audience Award. She will perform on November 17, 2024 with orchestra at Fürstensaal Fulda.
Kotaro Watanabe (Japan) – Pianale Friends e.V. Prize and will be invited to Pianale 2025.
Harmony Zhu (Canada). – Emcy prize and Eichenzell Award.
SPECIAL PRIZES:
Yurina Yamashita (16, Japan) – Soroptimist International Club Fulda Award for being an outstanding young woman-pianist.
Edward Ahlbeck Glader (Sweden) – the special award for the best progress of learning during Pianale Junior
All students who were performing the semi-final concert received a bursary of 700 Euro. The finalists was awarded a bursary of 1.200 Euro and received concert engagements.
