The 7th edition of the International Competition for Young Pianists “CITTA’ DI MINERBIO” and the 7th International Showcase for Young Pianists concluded on September 10th. It was an extraordinary journey through the artistry of young pianists from around the world. This edition, curated by Luisa Grillo (artistic director of the competition), was characterized by its rich calendar of events that engaged the city of Minerbio and neighboring municipalities, featuring numerous concerts held in historically splendid settings.
We had the pleasure of hosting Oxana Yablonskaya, who performed in an extraordinary concert. Her charismatic piano playing and profound interpretations created an unforgettable experience. There were also opportunities for interaction and learning with the exceptional jury, led by Riccardo Risaliti, and through Oxana Yablonskaya’s masterclass.
The jury were composed with RICCARDO RISALITI, OXANA YABLONSKAYA, MARIA TERESA CARUNCHIO, ANTE VETMA, OLIVER KERN.
During the final evening at the Teatro Minerva, the award ceremony for the winners took place, along with their performances, in a crescendo of emotions and virtuosity. The passion and dedication of the participants illuminated the stage, providing the audience with moments of pure musical enchantment.
The international piano competition “Città di Minerbio” is distinguished by the exceptionally high level of its participants, and this year we received confirmation of increasing interest in our competition, capturing the attention of pianists from various countries.
Each edition of the competition is a precious contribution to the cultural history of our region, and this year was no exception.
