My name is Margherita Mabel Costantini and I am an Italian girl who just started to work for EMCY, as the new EVS volunteer . I am 22 and I came from a small town in Northern Italy, named Gemona del Friuli. I just graduated from University of Trieste where I studied International and Diplomatic Sciences.
I applied to this European Volunteering Project because after many years of studying I wanted to have working experience, live in a foreign country and have a break in my life to think about my future. That’s why this year in EMCY was a perfect choice, I selected on purpose a project that had nothing to do with my studies in order to do something different and cultivate other skills, besides the ones that I already have.
From this experience, I expect to grow as a person, to become more mature and responsible and to become able to solve problems by myself without getting emotional. In addition, I hope to find new friends and discover new cultures and diversities. I am a very open person and I like to learn new things; that’s why I hope to gain everyday something special and surprising.
I have chosen this project because I don’t know that much about classical music, but I am ready to learn and because I think that organizing events for young people in a European landscape is the future and I would like to contribute with my skills to its development. I would like to discover Munich as a city and live in a different setting, to learn German and to visit the northern part of Europe.
