Between 2016 and 2018, the European Union of Music Competitions for Youth (EMCY), collaborated with partner organisations in 6 different countries, including the UGDA Music School, to carry out a European cooperation project in the framework of the Creative Europe programme of the European Commission.
In order to present the results of the project « GIVE MUSIC A FUTURE », particularly the intellectual outputs, we have the pleasure to invite you to a press conference and information meeting on Wednesday, 5 December at 3:00pm at the UGDA Music School, meeting room 1 on the ground floor, 3 Route d’Arlon, L-8009 Strassen.
The UGDA Music School as also organised over the past several years different projects in the framework of the Erasmus+/Youth in Action programme.
The information meeting will also be used to raise awareness among the cultural actors in Luxembourg for future European projects and possible collaborations in Luxembourg. Representatives of the EMCY, UGDA Music School, Agence Luxembourgeoise d’Action Culturelle (ALAC) will be present and will give important information on regarding the current European programmes.
GIVE MUSIC A FUTURE is a cooperation project co-funded by the culture program Creative Europe of the European Union. It counts 8 partners of 7 different countries: United Kingdom, Netherlands, Turkey, Lithuania, Spain, Luxembourg and Germany. GIVE MUSIC A FUTURE wants to promote young European musicians with performances in 7 countries, providing them with the essential skills to engage with different audiences all over Europe. They will leave the concert halls and take the music to places where you and I meet. GIVE MUSIC A FUTURE will turn youth music competitions into an interactive experience of art.
