She is the Principal Harpist of the Kharkiv State Theatre of Opera and Ballet and a professor at both the Kharkiv State Musical Lyceum and Kharkiv Secondary School of Arts №3. Due to the ongoing war, all lessons at the school are currently conducted online for safety.

Students of Larysa Klievtsova have won prizes at numerous international harp competitions in Italy, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Georgia, and Ukraine. She is frequently invited to serve as a jury member at international harp competitions and regularly participates in major harp events such as the World Harp Congress, Harp Masters Academy, Vienna Harp Days, and Suoni d’Arpa.

As an orchestral musician, Larysa has toured extensively in Great Britain, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Finland, Lithuania, and Slovakia. Following the full-scale invasion in 2022, the orchestra of the Kharkiv State Theatre of Opera and Ballet was evacuated and based in Slovakia for two years. In 2024, the musicians returned to Kharkiv, despite the ongoing war, and currently perform underground in a bomb shelter converted into a concert hall with 400 seats.
