Art Director of the Rave Harps Academy and the Singapore Harp Fest, a member of the Board of Directors of the World Harp Congress, and Director of Cempaka Harp in Malaysia. Katryna is an adjunct harp faculty member at Singapore’s School of the Arts (SOTA) and Nanyang Girls’ High School, and a tutor to harpists in the Singapore National Youth Orchestra and the Singapore National Chinese Orchestra.
Katryna is a keen supporter of Asian and contemporary music. She has held multiple roles in her harp career, particularly as an educator, and her contributions have changed the landscape in the region, building a harp community that has made an international impact.
Katryna holds a Master of Music degree in Harp Performance from the University of Michigan, USA. She has given recitals in Paris, Washington, Australia, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, Macau, the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore, and is frequently invited as Guest Harp Master Teacher to Australia, Beijing, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines. She also serves as a jury member in several music competitions, including the Singapore SYF Competitions.
Katryna has performed as a soloist and as an orchestral harpist with various orchestras and performs chamber music regularly with her trio group, the I-Sis Trio ( harp, violin, and cello). She is also an author of Inspirational book “Unleash the Musician in You”.
