Was born in Porto in 2000. Started studying the violin at the age of 6 with Andrea Moreira at Conservatório de Música do Porto. In 2021 completed her degree at ESMAE, in the class of Vítor Vieira. Also studied with Afonso Fesch. In 2024 completed her Master’s Degree in Performance at Hochschule für Musik Freiburg, with Julia Schröder. Has also worked with teachers such as Miguel Borges Coelho, Sylvie Altenburger, Roglit Ishay, Liza Ferschtman, Jean-Christophe Dijoux, Wolfram Christ and Gunnar Persicke. Currently studying with Sebastian Hamann.
Has taken part in several orchestra projects: OJ.com, Ticino Musica Festival Orchestra, Junge Deutsche Philharmonie, Orquestra XXI, Philharmonisches Orchester Freiburg. Took part in Old Ox Festival and International Mendelssohn Festival.
In 2017 won the Orquestra do Norte Prize, playing as a soloist at Casa da Música. In 2024 won the 1st prize in Prémio Jovens Músicos Competition and the EMCY Award.
Parallel to her studies, has been specializing in baroque violin. Studied with Benjamin Chénier at ESMAE. Took part in academies such as Bach Academy Stuttgart 2022, MA Festival 2022 and Atelier Katharinas Hofmusik V 2023. Was recently admitted to the Master’s Degree in baroque violin at Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt, in the class of Petra Müllejans.
