Noah Gessner, born in 2006, comes from a Styrian family of musicians and has been attending the renowned percussion school “STUDIO PERCUSSION Graz” since the age of 7. He has been attending the Johann-Josef-Fux Konservatorium Graz since 2019 and is studying at the University of Arts in Graz from October 2021.
His musical versatility and curiosity enable him to brilliantly interpret musical genres ranging from classical to jazz and contemporary music.
Noah Gessner is an exceptional talent and has won 1st prize awards (2015, 2017, 2019, 2021) in all previous “prima la musica” competitions at state and national levels.
He had many solo performances, such as: at the prizewinner concert of ‘prima la musica’- at the Opera House Graz (2015), at the ‘Festival for Early Music and New Tones’ in Salzburg (2016 & 2018), in 2019 in Öblarn, Stefaniensaal Graz, Styria, Alban Berg Saal, Stift Ossiach and Carinthia. In 2020 he performed at the Lions Gala, in Bad Waltersdorf and at the “Urban Art Festival Styria” in Graz.
In 2021, Noah was the soloist percussion, at the prizewinner concert of ‘prima la musica’ in Steiermarkhof, at the “Urban Art Festival Styria” in Graz, at the concert ‘Best of Konservatorium Graz’ and at the „Night of percussion“, Carinthian Music Academy Ossiach.
He also participated in the “Academy I Percussion meets Identity”, in July 2021 in Graz.
