My name is Sara Tari and I’m the new ESC Volunteer for EMCY. I’m 25 years old and I come from a little city in South Italy, named Ceglie Messapica.
I graduated from University of Bologna where I attended a Master in Management for Social Economy.
In the future, I would like to become a Project Manager in the Non Profit field. Starting with a Volunteer year in a Non Profit Organisation, like EMCY, was for me the best opportunity to grow personally and professionally.
I would like to learn as much as I can and improve my soft and hard skills. I am glad that I got this opportunity and I hope that I can benefit from it completely. I’m a really positive person and I expect to learn a lot about international projects and how to manage them, also from an economic perspective.
Changing environment, language and life are for sure challenging points, but I hope that I will manage them well, also with the help of EMCY’s team.
Living in a big City like Munich will be really interesting for me and I hope to get in touch with many people to understand their culture and lifestyle.
