Viola Asoskova was born in 2003 in Tallinn, Estonia. She started playing the piano at the age of 6 in the class of Jekaterina Rostovtseva in Tallinn Music High School . Since September 2018 Viola also studies with professor Peep Lassmann. Viola participated in different masterclasses and she was also a member of national and international festivals, like Piano City Milano. In 2016, Viola was a member of the Tallinn Philharmonic Society project, in which she participated as soloist with the Tallinn Chamber Orchestra.
Viola is the prize winner of many national and international competitions. The latest achievements are second prize and EMCY prize at 8th International Junior Piano Competition ‘Brin d’herbe’ Orléans, France, first prize at the 1st WPTA Finland International Piano Competition, first prize at the BMTG International Piano Competition, New York, USA, the second prize at the 9th International Piano Competition Jeune Musique, Switzerland, the first prize at the 27th Concorso Internationale per Giovani Musicisti Città’ di Barletta, Italy and the “Prix de d’Exellence” at the 7th International Junior Piano Competition ‘Brin d’herbe’ Orleans, France.
