Results of the 88th Concurso Permanente de Jóvenes Intérpretes

Between 16th -19th November 2017 the 88th Concurso Permanente de Jóvenes Intérpretes in Banyoles ( Spain) for harp, chamber music and voice took place.

The new EMCY prize Winner is the harpist Noelia Cotuna.

The jury was composed of its new president, the composer Jesús Rueda, the cellist Fernando Arias, the pianist José Enrique Bagaría, the harpist José Antonio Domené, the clarinetist Joan Enric Lluna, Marta Mathéu and Xavier Sabata.

The jury awarded the prizes as follows:

Chamber music:

• First award: sax quartet Psaiko Quartet

• Second award: piano duo Antón & Maite

Voice:

• First award: Helena Ressureiçao

• Second award: Mikel Uskola

Harp:

• First award: Noelia Cotuna

• Second award: not assigned

The next Concurso Permanente de Jóvenes Intérpretes will take place from 23th-25th March for strings, piano, winds, guitar, voice, ensembles, ancient music, jazz, flamenco, in Madrid and Barcelona (Spain).
