Coming from a family of musicians, William discovered the French bassoon at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Metz, studying first with Sylvie Villedary and later
with Yaël Burger. Alongside this training, he joined the Conservatoire of Esch-sur-Alzette (Luxembourg) in 2024, where he studies with David Sattler.
His desire to improve and to meet new musicians naturally led him to take part in several national competitions in France and Luxembourg. He is a prizewinner of the “Jeunes Vents Bassons” competition and the “Luxembourg Competition for Young Soloists”.
Passionate about orchestral music, he plays second bassoon in various ensembles, including the Gradus Ad Musicam Orchestra in Nancy and the Mettensis Orchestra in Metz.
