Štefan is a young talented guitarist who started his interpretation art in playing the guitar at the Art School in Nová Baňa with teacher Ondrej Konečný. He is currently a recent graduate of the Ján Levoslav Bella Conservatory in Banská Bystrica, where he studied under the teacher Mgr. art. Jozef Vohár, ArtD.
While studying at the conservatory, he took master classes with many important classical guitar performers, such as: Lukáš Sommer, Alberto Mesirca, Antal Pusztai, Ján Labant, Marcin Dylla, Pedro Mateo González, Pavel Steidl and Sebastian Montes.
Among his important concert performances, he would like to mention a concert at the Johann Kaspar Mertz International Guitar Festival 2021 and 2023 in capital city of Slovakia in Bratislava and a classical guitar concert tour in Prešov (IUVENILIS CITHARA 2021).
Štefan’s achievements until now are: 1st place at the international competition Ivan Ball Festival in Dolný Kubín (2019), 3rd place at the international guitar competition in Katowice, Poland (2021), 1st place and title of laureate of the All-Slovak Conservatory Students’ Guitar Competition (2021), 1st place in the category of conservators – La guitaromanie and 1st place and title of laureate of the All-Slovak conservatory students’ guitar competition (2023)
