Joya Marleen is a young singer-songwriter from St. Gallen, Switzerland. She has performed in public since 2016 singing her songs which combine pop and folk with jazzy elements or cover songs, in which she reinvents them with her own interpretations. She has a considerable vocal volume that sometimes reminds us of strong women in blues.

Joya Marleen performs solo or with a band. Her role models are outstanding personalities and voices like Tracy Chapman, Sophie Hunger or Billie Hollyday.

In April 2018 she was the Prizewinner at the Swiss Youth Music Competition: Schweizerischer Jugendmusikwettbewerb (SJMW) Jazz&Pop. In the same year she has also performed as solo at Act GENNEX 2018, Cirque Du Soleil, in Dübendorf, in Supporting Act (Solo) für «Carrousel» in Presswerk, Arbon and as Trio Act AROSA SOUNDS 2019, in Arosa.
