The 2022 Øresund Soloist Competition was held on 7-8 January 2022 at the Copenhagen School of Music. After all the participants had played for the jury, different prizes were awarded per age category and instruments:

Wind players, up to 16 years
1st prize: Villum Speyer Thomas, clarinet
2nd prize: Hans Steengaard Christensen, clarinet
3rd prize: Laurits Herring Rasmussen, tuba; Anna Lohmann Hesselhøj, flute

Wind players, 17-21 years
1st prize and EMCY Prize: Klara Borgqvist, oboe
2nd prize: Tekla Nilsson, clarinet
3rd prize: Niels August Hvidtfeldt Madsen, tuba; Julie Rønløv Nielsen, flute

Strings, up to 16 years
1st prize: Harry Dai Liang, violin
2nd prize: Sufiya Ainan Taufik, violin
3rd prize: Malte Brix Frandsen, cello; Sara Hagman, violin

String players 17-21 years
1st prize: Harald Edin, double bass
2nd prize: Astrid Hillerud, cello
3rd prize: Vasilisa Koroleva, violin; Klara Kotarsky, viola; Ami-Louise Johnsson, viola

The Jury was composed by:
