The International Robert Schumann Competition Düsseldorf for young pianists took place between 21. – 25. February 2023.
The competition included several rounds, with each round presenting new challenges for the contestants. For the final, the pianists were joined on stage by the Kölner Kammerorchester – Cologne Chamber Orchestra and conductor Christoph Poppen, at the Robert-Schumann-Saal.
