Every year EMCY in collaboration with EBU (European Broadcasting Union), organises a Youth concert to present young talents. With this event, the prize winners of EMCY’s member competitions are promoted in various European countries.
This year the recital has been held on the 4th November in Vilnius, Lithuania, at the National Philharmonic Society.
Four young musicians were: pianists Thomas Kelly (Great Britain) prize winner of Pianale International Piano Competition, Milda Daunoraite (Lithuania) prize winner of International Vladimir Krainev Young Pianists Competition, flutist Uliana Zhivitckaia (Russia) prize winner of International Radio Competition for Young Musicians ‘Concertino Praga’ and violinist Songha Choi (South Korea) prize winner of Menuhin International Violin Competition. They have played with the National Symphony Orchestraconducted by the young maestro Martynas Stakionis. All these musicians performed an instrumental concert.

This annual event is an excellent opportunity for highly talented prize winners of EMCY member competitions to play a live performance that is broadcasted across Europe through the EBU and regional radio stations.
