Lukas Flink grew up in Malmö, Sweden, and began playing the trombone at the age of six. Whereas he now focuses on a classical career he has always loved to experiment with music in many different genres, like jazz, folk and more. When he was 16 years old he moved to Stockholm to study at Lilla Akademiens Musikgymnasium for Mikael Oskarsson, principal trombone of the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra. Since 2022, Lukas Flink studies his bachelor degree at the Norwegian Academy of Music for professor Jonas Bylund.
Lukas Flink won the first prize in Polstjärnepriset 2022, where he performed H. Tomasi trombone concerto, 1st mvmt, with the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra in the finale. In july 2022 he represented Sweden in Eurovision Young Musicians in Montpellier, France.
