Between 20.05. and 31.05.2022, the Österreichische Jugendmusikwettbewerbe prima la musica, the largest Austrian youth music competition took place at the Festival Hall of the Vorarlberg State Conservatory in Feldkirch, Austria.
The competition is aimed for children and young people who enjoy making music and who want to achieve something special in music. Young musicians from Austria, South Tyrol and Liechtenstein as well as young people of other nationalities who have been resident in Austria for at least 3 years were eligible to participate.
The competition was held at the state and national level. The best participants of the regional competitions were invited to the national competition. This takes place alternately by instrument group in a different federal state each year.
