After a long and elaborate process, the prize winners of the Aarhus International piano competition have been announced. Everything started in December 2018, when the pre-jury has searched for pianists all over the world, selected 42 musicians and worked on their anonymized recording.

The preselection jury was composed by Christopher Elton from the United Kingdom, Tove Lønskov from Denmark and Uta Weyand from Germany, which met and worked together in Copenhagen.

The competitors, all under the age of 22, have performed amazing piano pieces and the finalists had the chance to play with the Aarhus Symphony Orchestra.
