In the framework of the international project ‘GIVE MUSIC A FUTURE‘ realized by EMCY and its partners, it was important to leave a concrete trace of what this European collaboration has realized. The aim was not only to have a proof of what has been done in the past years but also show that international cooperation through shared values can be possible and positive.
For this reason the audience development expert Irma de Jong, project manager of Cicerone Music & Art prepared a draft of the projects’ guidelines and presented it at the EMCY Conference INTER-NATIONAL net_works+ and 31st General Assembly in Luxembourg to all EMCY members and collaborators. In addition, she proposed to all a questionnaire to have complete information and feedback on the project.
Musicians and partners’ feedback have been gathered and used as the attestation of the beneficial outcomes that GIVE MUSIC A FUTURE has had for anyone involved in it. The guidelines served also as an evaluation instrument to prove that the project has reached its aims efficiently. Moreover, they had an important effect in communicating with the audience all the projects accomplished by GIVE MUSIC A FUTURE. In conclusion, it was important for EMCY to create an instrument that could be a model of international cooperation for other organizations in the future and that is exactly what this rich brochure does.
The online version of the brochure will be available from December 2018.
