Barbara Čechová was born in August 1998 in Prešov, Slovakia. Her first steps towards music were taken by playing piano at the young age. Later, she began to sing and found interest in singing.
She performed in several school musicals, concerts and operas. In 2014, she began studying at the Conservatory in Bratislava. She is currently studying 5th year under supervision of Jana Bernáthová – soloist of Slovak National Theater in Bratislava, Slovakia.
In November 2018, she had the opportunity to perform the role of Amarilis in the school opera by J. Kusser Erindo. In October 2018 Barbara took part in International competition of Imrich Godin, Iuventis Canti in Vráble, where she won first place and received a special prize Emcy Slovakia. In April 2018 Barbara took part in International competition of Rudolf Petrak in Žilina, where she received an honorable mention and had opportunity to sing Rusalka’s aria with orchestra of Žilina philharmony. In March 2018, Barbara participated Masterclass of Eva Randova in Karlový Vary, where she singed Musetta’s aria with Karlovy Vary orchestra.
