The 8th edition of the International Piano Competition of Orléans for youth‘Brin d’herbe’ (France) took place from April 11 to 14, 2019. The competition presents 3 levels (beginner, intermediate and advanced) and is dedicated to contemporary music of piano repertoire from 1900 to present.
The competition took place at the Salle de l’Institut, 4 Place Sainte-Croix – Orléans, were 24 candidates had the opportunity to perform in front of an international jury for 3 days. The rounds were followed by the Concert of the laureates and an Award Ceremony on Sunday, April 14.
