This year’s EMCY General Assembly will be held in Luxembourg on 1st July in conjunction with the INTER-NATIONAL net_works+ Conference (29th and 30th June). This event organised in collaboration with the UGDA Music School and cofounded through the Erasmus+ program is an initiative under the patronage of Mr. Jean-Claude Juncker, President of the European Commission.
We are very grateful to our generous hosts, the UGDA Music School and our member competition, the Concours Luxembourgeois pour Jeunes Solistes & European Competition for Young Soloists, and look forward to a successful event.
The conference workshops, led by international experts, will broach themes including: supporting young prize winners; cooperation between international/national music competitions, music organisers and juries; audience development; and the opportunities and access for European funding to carry out cooperative projects and exchange of best practices.
33 participants from 18 different countries will take part at the conference. The delegates will get the opportunity to attend a prestigious concert, the «Kinnekswiss loves Elīna Garanča and the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg» by Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg with Gustavo Gimeno, direction, and Elīna Garanča mezzo-soprano.
