Strahinja was born in Belgrad. Currently he is a 3rd grade student at the high school of music 'Vatroslav Lisinski' in the class of Prof. Ljubisa Jovanovic.

He has succeeded at several competitions including:
2006:

  • 1st Prize at the open competition 'Memorial Dusan Protic'
  • 1st Prize at the Davorin Jenko International Music Competition

2007:

  • 1st Prize at the Competition of Wind Instrument Players  in Pozarevac
  • Special Prize at the open competition 'Memorial Dusan Protic'

2013:

Strahinja is a member of the Clarinet orchestra 'Bruno Brun', the mixed guitar orchestra 'Dusan Trifunovic', Serbo-Italian Symphony Youth Orchestra and Mosjoen Vesfns orchestra. He has participated in numerous school concerts playing in diverse concert halls, such as the Hall of Sava Theater, Kolarac concert hall, the House of the Union, 'SANU' Gallery and Hall of Belgrade Philharmonic. In 2011 he performed at two concerts in Monza and Milan (Italy) at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory as soloist with the Serbo - Italian Symphony Youth Orchestra.

He has attended master classes with Prof. Ljubisa Jovanovic, Prof. Aleksandar Tasic, Mate Bekavac, Jan Jakub Bokun, Milan Rericha, Stefani Zelnick, to name but a few.
