Jürgen Leitner began his music studies with the recorder at 5 years old. Two years later he had his first percussion lessons with Has Trenker in Grieskirchen. Since 2007, Jürgen has studied percussion at the music school in Wels (Austria) under Max Murauer.

Born: 24 June 1999

Attends the 3rd year of Vocational College of Business Administration in Wels.

First music lessons in 2004 on the recorder for 2 years.

First percussion lessons 2006-2007 privately with Hans Trenker in Grieskirchen.
Since 2007 percussion lessons at the music school in Wels with Max Murauer.

Competitions:

Since the school year 2008/2009:
7 x participation in the regional competition "Prima la musica", each time  with 1st prize and qualification for the national championships.
7x participation in the national competition with 1st and 2nd prizes.

2014 Participation in the competition "Musik in kleinen Gruppen" with the trio "Lucky Break".

District competition 1st prize
Regional Competition 1st prize and nomination for the national competition in South Tyrol.
In the national competition among the top 10 out of 54 groups of all ages from all over Austria, Liechtenstein and South Tyrol.
Proficiency Badge in Bronze 2011 with distinction.
Proficiency Badge in Silver 2012 with distinction.
Proficiency Badge in Gold and final exam "Audit of Art" on 19 June 2015 with distinction.
