Thirty young Lithuanian performers have been selected for the international competition during the National Balys Dvarionas competition in February. The participants are divided into three age categories. The prize fund of the competition is 26 000 euros. It will be shared by winners of the Grand Prix, laureates and special prize winners. There is an emphasis on the winners’ concert activity and improvement of professional skill: post-competition concerts of laureates are being organized.

This year you are invited to vote for your favorite performer at the news site www.15min.lt.

The conclusive events of the competition – the finals and a concert of laureates will take place at the the Lithuanian National Philharmonic hall: on the 29th at 5 p.m. and on the 30th at 12 p.m. The young talents will be sharing the stage with the National symphonic orchestra, conducted by Modestas Barkauskas, who has been awarded with the “Golden Stage Cross” this year.
